Jose Mourinho finds it hard to accept that he might not walk away with the Ballon d’Or award for his resounding success with Serie A outfit Inter Milan .
Vicente Del Bosque has emerged as the likely man to capture the prize for his achievements with the Spanish national team.
But, speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, highly-rated Mourinho claimed he is deserving of the accolade.
“In 11 months of work I won three titles, including the Champions League. There was nothing else to win.”, said the Real Madrid manager.
In irritated fashion, Mourinho then went on to express indifference.
“What can I say? I prefer to win Sunday’s game than the Ballon d’Or.”, the Portugese commented.
