John Mikel Obi arrived the Super Eagles camp on Friday morning, met with Lars Lagerback and trained with the team an hour later.
The midfielder has been recuperating from a meniscus repair operation, and met with Lagerback on arrival at the camp to assure him of his fitness and readiness for the World Cup. Mikel has been certified fit by Chelsea and Nigeria medics, and arrived at the Nigeria training camp after undergoing his last therapy session on Thursday.
He then joined the squad as they trained at 12:30pm but worked out on his own along with defender Onyekachi Apam, as the rest of the team played an 11-A-Side practice game.
Forward Brown Ideye also arrived on Friday, just hours before Mikel, after being held up in Nigeria by visa issues.
