Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey has moved on loan to Blackpool, as he has been unable to break into Kenny Dalglish’s first-team this season.
Shelvey, 19, has made 22 first-team appearances for Liverpool since moving to Anfield from Charlton Athletic in May 2010 but with a host of new players arriving this summer, has decided to move on in order to play regular football.
A statement on the official website read: ”Liverpool have confirmed Jonjo Shelvey has joined Blackpool on loan until December 31, 2011.”
Ian Holloway’s Championship side are currently sitting in 10th place in the table after a solid start to their campaign and Shelvey could be set to make his debut against Bristol City on Saturday.
