Barcelona striker Bojan Krkic will complete his transfer to Roma next week, according to the player’s father.
Krkic senior told Radio Radio: “He will come next week and he may be presented with [club owner] Thomas DiBenedetto.
“Krkic has already put a picture of the Curva Sud [Roma fans’ turnstile at the Olympic stadium] on his mobile phone.”
Earlier in the week, Bojan revealed he had mixed emotions about leaving current club Barcelona.
“I am experiencing a bittersweet situation,” he was quoted as saying by Corriere dello Sport.
“It´s not easy to leave Barcelona but in any case I feel fortunate.
“I´m only 20 and I know I still will be able to achieve many things in football.
“Roma are very interested in me and it could be a great experience.
“I have not spoken to (new Roma coach) Luis Enrique but I know he is keen having me.
“Italian football is respected all over the world and an experience in Serie A would be good for my career.”
Bojan is expected to join Roma in a reported 10million euros transfer deal.
