Arsenal have raised their interest in Torino’s highly-rated centre-back Angelo Ogbonna with a view to a January move for the player, according to Italian reports.
The 22-year-old Nigerian is out of contract at the end of the season, and Sky Sport 24 says the Serie A club would look to sell him for around €7.5 million if there is no agreement on a contract extension soon.
Everton, Napoli and Fiorentina have also been linked with the player.
Despite the interest from Premier League clubs, the young defender last month said he was concentrating on succeeding with Toirino.
“This is certainly not the time to be influenced by the market,” he said. “My goal to do well here and improve our place from last season.
