Inter Milan have reportedly put aside a treasure chest of cash to spend on Arsenal’s Cesc Fabregas. According to report, the Italian giants are desperate for a mid-season lift, and for 50 million euros believe Fabregas is the man to deliver it. Arsenal turned down a £23m offer for the Spanish international in the summer, but Inter are hoping the increased cash on the table will force their hand. Inter manager Rafa Benitez is said to be a big fan of Fabregas and would love to add him to his Inter set-up.
Meanwhile, Sunderland are planning a raid for Tottenham midfielder David Bentley.
Steve Bruce is said to be keen on the 26-year-old, who has started just once for Spurs this season. Tottenham paid £15m for Bentley, but will reportedly consider a £1m loan deal option.
