Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that he is looking to bring in a goalkeeper on an emergency loan deal due to Wojciech Szczesny’s injury.
The Pole sustained a dislocated finger during the Champions League clash against Barcelona on Tuesday night, which saw the Gunners bow out of the competition.
Lukasz Fabianski is sidelined for the remainder of the season due to a shoulder injury, while Vito Mannone, who is on loan at Hull City, is also injured.
Now the Frenchman has confirmed that he is looking towards bringing in a replacement due to the current circumstances.
“We will look for an emergency keeper and I have somebody in mind, but it won’t be in time for this weekend,” Wenger said, according to the Daily Mail.
